Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our clients. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as kitchen sanitation, bathroom cleaning, and bedroom organization. Manage housekeeping tasks in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness is upheld. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with residential and commercial cleaning practices is advantageous. Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques will be considered a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions thoroughly. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
