Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to perform restroom cleaning twice daily, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role is vital in maintaining cleanliness standards and promoting health and safety within our facility. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional custodial service through consistent restroom maintenance. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all restroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, urinals, mirrors, and countertops twice each day to uphold high hygiene standards. Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, and other necessary items to ensure availability at all times. Inspect restrooms regularly for any maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to effectively remove dirt, stains, and bacteria from surfaces while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of surrounding areas including floors, walls, vents, and trash receptacles to ensure a consistently tidy environment. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures diligently to meet health regulations and organizational standards. Document completed tasks and report any unusual conditions or damages observed during cleaning shifts. Requirements Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred; familiarity with restroom cleaning protocols is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, disinfecting, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or scrubbers safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and hygiene standards. Reliable with excellent time management skills to complete cleaning tasks twice daily without supervision. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance or custodial services is advantageous.
