Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts directly contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction at every turn. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to meet hotel standards. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and steam cleaners efficiently and safely. Use appropriate chemical agents for different cleaning applications while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and handling chemicals responsibly. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies inventory, and sanitation procedures to support hotel housekeeping management. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet and floor cleaning. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while understanding proper chemical handling procedures. Skilled in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and industrial cleaning tools. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and custodial experience preferred.
