Responsibilities Perform thorough floor cleaning and sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents to uphold hotel standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper procedures for chemical handling. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, and cleaning equipment efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, hallways, lobby, and service areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and detailed cleaning tasks. Operate hotel shuttle services during overnight hours to transport guests or staff as needed, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to any incidents or safety concerns during overnight shifts. Support hotel housekeeping management by assisting with sanitation tasks, ensuring compliance with health standards, and maintaining a clean environment at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously during shuttle operations or when interacting within the hotel premises. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while adhering to safety protocols outlined in SDS documentation. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry is advantageous but not required. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks comfortably during shift hours. Strong commitment to sanitation standards, safety procedures, and customer service excellence during overnight operations. Must have a valid driver's license.
