Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Adheres to all safety guidelines. Service, clean and supply restrooms. Sweep, vacuum and mop floors. Clean carpets, refrigerators and microwaves. Gather and empty trash morning and evening. Dust items such as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, lights and window sills. Observe appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; notify managers concerning needed repairs, safety hazards or conditions. Maintain an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies. Help setup, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs and ladders to prepare facilities for events. Organize supply closet. Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Attention to detail. Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards. Confidence to speak up when safety and quality are compromised. Awareness of the importance sanitation in food and beverage environments. Strong problem solving skills. Sound judgment and professionalism in all aspects of the position. Organizational skills. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Working knowledge of floor finishing processes, cleaning chemicals and housekeeping best practices in industrial and commercial operations. Team player.
