We have a small hotel in Dilley with an apartment attached to the front desk. We are looking for someone with front desk and cleaning experience at a local hotel in Dilley who can run the front desk, clean the rooms, and manage the hotel in exchange for living in the apartment full-time for free with utilities included plus occupancy-based pay. We're looking for someone local who is well-connected to the oil companies and local businesses who can help bring in recurring business guests. This person should also have computer skills to be able to make reservations and cleaning skills to turn the rooms. Maintenance and landscaping skills are a plus. The rooms are 225 sq ft and can be cleaned within 30 minutes. Making the bed, picking up trash, cleaning the bathroom, laundry, restocking, putting out breakfast. Checkout is 11am, checkin is 3pm. We have commercial grade laundry machines, shelving, fast wifi, good technology.

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk/Housekeeping professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in front desk, cleaning, and laundering services, preferably within a hotel setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reservation tasks such as new reservations, extensions, cancellations
• Clean rooms, turn beds, clean bathrooms, restock rooms
• Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
• Put out small breakfast of bread, peanut butter and jelly, assorted breakfast foods
• Contact business guests and local companies to secure long-term/recurring guests
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in front desk, housekeeping, laundry, or similar roles preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
