Job Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests. This role ensures guest rooms and public areas meet the hotels cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards

Change bed linens and make beds

Replace towels and replenish guest amenities

Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

Clean and sanitize bathrooms

Empty trash and dispose of waste properly

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management

Respond promptly to guest requests when needed

Maintain cleaning cart and supplies

Follow all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods

Must be dependable and punctual

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel environment

Requires physical activity including lifting up to 25-50 pounds

May require weekend and holiday availability
