Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as window cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by performing janitorial duties regularly. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during cleaning procedures to ensure safety and infection control standards are met. Operate cleaning machinery like pressure washers and floor scrubbers with proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting when necessary. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good condition and stored securely after use. Follow established protocols for sanitation, chemical handling, and infection control to promote a safe environment for guests and staff. Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures. Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning chemicals safely. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting with proper technique. Familiarity with cleaning equipment like pressure washers, vacuums, buffers, and other tools. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions. Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of sanitation standards.
