Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, coffee machines, toasters, and other small appliances. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet stations or service areas. Support manual handling activities like lifting supplies or equipment with proper technique to ensure safety. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional in-person customer service, addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally. Adhere to food safety management protocols and maintain compliance with all health regulations related to food industry standards. Contribute to the overall cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces by performing housekeeping duties as needed. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and hygiene standards. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor for in-person interactions. Physical ability to handle weight in the workplace through manual lifting or moving supplies comfortably. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards within the hospitality environment.
