Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Care for floors using appropriate cleaning methods for carpets, tiles, hardwoods, or other flooring types to ensure safety and visual appeal. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently to meet operational needs. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Support housekeeping management in inventory control and maintaining cleanliness logs for accountability. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards for guest service excellence. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or cleaning equipment.
