Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including bed linens, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures Use commercial cleaning equipment effectively to ensure efficient floor care and sanitation standards are met Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety protocols Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to document cleaning activities and report maintenance issues promptly Respond professionally to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services, demonstrating excellent customer service skills Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or industrial cleaning environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and hotel emergency procedures is advantageous Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and understand safety data sheets (SDS) for all products used Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and stand or walk for extended periods throughout shifts Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in all areas of the hotel Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude to deliver exceptional customer service in a hospitality setting Bilingual skills in Spanish and English a plus Join us as a Hotel Housekeeper and be part of a team dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional stay through cleanliness, safety, and outstanding service.
