Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our Private Club setting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring all surfaces and floors are spotless. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation will contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic space for our Members and guests. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are consistently met. Clean surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, windows, and furniture with suitable cleaning detergents. Handle manual tasks such as lifting of furniture or supplies safely and with proper technique. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are used correctly and stored properly. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy. Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning and on course restroom cleaning/maintenance. Follow time management practices to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, custodial procedures, and handling cleaning chemicals. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles, including janitorial or custodial experience. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and dusters. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize daily duties effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper usage protocols. Previous experience in residential housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
