Job Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Five Rivers Motel & RV Park, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel. Your attention to detail and dedication to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests will contribute to their memorable stay. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for cleanliness to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Room Preparation:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, ensuring all areas are tidy, well-maintained, and free of dirt, dust, and debris. Make beds, change linens, and ensure all amenities are properly stocked. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture to maintain a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and fixtures. Remove trash and replace garbage bags in a timely manner.
Public Areas and Common Spaces:
Clean and maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairways, and other public areas. Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and decorative items. Vacuum and mop floors, ensuring they are free of stains and spills. Keep storage areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
Linen and Supply Management:
Collect dirty linens, towels, and other laundry items and transport them to the designated laundry area. Assist with the sorting, washing, drying, and folding of clean linens. Report any damaged or worn-out linens to the supervisor for replacement. Ensure housekeeping carts are properly stocked with supplies and amenities.
Maintenance and Reporting:
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department. Follow established procedures for reporting lost and found items. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, requesting restocking as needed. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Guest Service:
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or any housekeeping-related inquiries. Address any concerns or complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Provide assistance and support to guests, including directions, recommendations, and information about hotel services.
