Description:
The Housekeeping Lead oversees the housekeeping team to ensure daily production plans are completed efficiently while maintaining food safety, operational standards, and team productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily housekeeping operations. Maintain production flow and operational goals. Identify and address housekeeping issues that may impact food safety. Monitor PPE and chemical inventory. Adjust staffing and schedules as needed. Support employee training and cross-training. Promote workplace safety and food safety standards. Assist the QA Supervisor with continuous improvements. Perform other duties assigned by QA leadership.
Requirements:
2+ years of food manufacturing or similar experience. High School Diploma or GED. English reading, writing, and speaking required. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, USDA, and FDA regulations. Ability to work in cold environments (below 45°F), weekends, and holidays.
