Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain floors through proper cleaning techniques including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning detergents effectively to achieve optimal results. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas when applicable. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Follow janitorial and custodial procedures for sanitation and cleanliness in both indoor and outdoor environments. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management. Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and understanding their maintenance requirements. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Ability to handle cleaning supplies safely, including the proper use of cleaning detergents. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Familiarity with time management strategies to ensure timely completion of duties.
