Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle all laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with care Use chemical agents safely and effectively, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to prevent accidents or contamination Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, floors, and high-touch areas regularly using proper floor care and janitorial practices Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steamers, and other machinery efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while practicing manual handling safety guidelines Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly and supporting emergency procedures when necessary Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques Strong skills in floor cleaning, vacuuming, sanitation, and overall janitorial practices Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly with understanding of chemical handling protocols Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and professionalism Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for safe chemical use Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining physical stamina for long shifts Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or similar organizational tools is a plus Join our team where your dedication to cleanliness and hospitality excellence will help create memorable experiences for our guests!
