Join a Texas Icon of Hospitality Nestled in the heart of downtown New Braunfels, The Faust Hotel is a historic boutique property known for timeless elegance, elevated service, and refined guest experiences. As a Public Area Attendant, you play a vital role in upholding our 5-star standards by ensuring every guest-facing space reflects the beauty, cleanliness, and sophistication our hotel is known for.
Compensation:
$15.00 hourly Position Summary The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces throughout the hotel. This role ensures that guests experience a pristine and welcoming environment from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and other public areas
- Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, and mop surfaces to luxury-level standards
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms throughout the day
- Monitor and replenish restroom and lobby amenities
- Remove trash and maintain waste receptacles
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning needs
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards immediately
- Support housekeeping team as needed during high occupancy Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods
