Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safe and hygienic environments. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency. Clean floors meticulously through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to restore their shine and durability. Maintain organization of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools, ensuring proper manual handling and storage practices. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled windows while maintaining quality standards. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including cleaning outdoor areas or patios as part of comprehensive housekeeping services. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial/custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning surfaces and equipment. Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently. Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and equipment used in professional housekeeping. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple homes or projects. Experience in residential housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
