Our housekeeping staff plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Position Summary The Housekeeping Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces in accordance with infection control standards and facility policies.
Schedule Full-Time:
6:00 AM - 2:30
PM PRN:
As needed to assist with coverage, weekends, and special cleaning projects Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces Follow infection control and isolation cleaning procedures Properly handle and dispose of trash and biohazard materials Replenish supplies such as paper products and soap dispensers Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the appropriate department Assist with room readiness for new admissions Follow facility safety guidelines and PPE requirements Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with residents, families, and staff Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting is a plus) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of infection control practices preferred Must be reliable and punctual Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a resident-focused care setting Training and growth opportunities Apply Today If you are passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment for residents, we encourage you to apply.
