Job Description

House Attendant Marriott International, Inc., a global leader in hospitality, seeks a detail oriented House Attendant to support our Housekeeping & Travel team. In this vital role, you'll maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, hallways, and back of house spaces, restock linens and supplies, and assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared to Marriott standards. You'll respond promptly to guest requests, handle equipment safely, and collaborate with the wider hotel team, helping create a welcoming, efficient, and guest focused environment that reflects Marriott's commitment to people, excellence, and integrity. Responsibilities Clean and maintain hotel public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces Transport and restock linens, amenities, and supplies for housekeeping carts and closets Assist Room Attendants with room preparation and turnover as needed Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow chemical handling guidelines Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff requests Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items Follow Marriott brand standards for cleanliness and presentation Support waste, recycling, and energy-saving procedures Coordinate with housekeeping and front office teams to prioritize tasks Adhere to all safety, security, and infection-control policies Required Skills Hotel housekeeping procedures Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, buffing) Linen handling and inventory Cart and supply management Basic maintenance reporting Occupational safety and health practices Time management and task prioritization Guest service and communication Incident and hazard reporting
