The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is trustworthy, and has experience providing high-quality housekeeping services in private residences. This role includes routine cleaning, laundry, organization, and helping ensure the home remains comfortable and well cared for. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of all living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and common spaces. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a clean and healthy home. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, countertops, appliances, and fixtures. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens. Make beds and change bed linens as needed. Organize closets, cabinets, and household items to keep the home tidy and orderly. Empty trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness throughout the home. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs observed in the residence. Assist with light household tasks such as watering plants, organizing pantry items, or receiving deliveries when requested. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of household members at all times. Follow homeowner preferences and special instructions regarding cleaning products, schedules, and care of valuable items. Qualifications Previous experience as a residential housekeeper, house cleaner, or similar role preferred. Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment for various household surfaces and materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities. Trustworthy, professional, and respectful of confidentiality in a private home setting. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to lift, carry, and move household items as needed. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
