Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures Perform floor care tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies safely and efficiently Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during unforeseen incidents or hazards Maintain cleanliness standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and hotel housekeeping guidelines Use janitorial equipment effectively for cleaning tasks, ensuring all tools are maintained in good condition Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report needs for restocking or repairs Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and chemical handling procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners with proficiency Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting and repetitive tasks Exceptional customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high-quality cleanliness standards Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms guest spaces into welcoming retreats.
