Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies safely through manual handling techniques. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to any safety or security incidents. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces with attention to detail and efficiency. Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and report maintenance issues promptly to housekeeping management for swift resolution. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services with a strong understanding of custodial practices. Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management procedures and hospitality industry standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
