Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents. Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded in all areas. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques. Use janitorial supplies responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, carpet cleaning techniques, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform outdoor work when necessary. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Basic understanding of cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper usage protocols. Prior experience in outdoor work environments or residential housekeeping is a plus.
