Mopping Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and common areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Skills:
Hospitality:
Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests- Industrial cleaning: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
Custodial:
Ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areasHotel:
Familiarity with hotel operations and standards- Housekeeping management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Floor care: Experience in floor maintenance, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
