This full-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a hotel clean, organized, and guest-ready. The right candidate will be friendly, reliable, willing to help wherever needed, and comfortable balancing houseman and laundry responsibilities throughout the shift. Schedule Full-time Weekend availability is required We do our best to honor schedule requests when proper advance notice is provided, based on hotel staffing and business needs Schedule and hours may vary according to occupancy and operational needs Houseman Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of hotel hallways, public areas, entrances, elevators, stairwells, and back-of-house spaces Vacuum, mop, dust, remove trash, and clean assigned areas Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping closets Remove soiled linens and trash from guest-room floors Stock and organize housekeeping closets and linen areas Assist room attendants and other hotel departments when needed Respond promptly and professionally to guest and team-member requests Help keep the hotel grounds and entrances clean and welcoming Follow hotel safety, security, and chemical-handling procedures Laundry Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels Operate commercial washers and dryers safely Inspect linens for stains, damage, and quality Maintain proper linen inventory and communicate shortages Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe Follow established procedures for chemicals, equipment, and infection prevention What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Friendly, helpful, and team-oriented attitude Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Previous hotel housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, or custodial experience is preferred, but not required for a motivated candidate Able to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to work weekends Pay and Benefits $13.00 per hour Free health insurance available to eligible full-time associates Marriott associate hotel discounts at participating Marriott properties Supportive, team-oriented hotel environment Opportunities to learn and grow within hospitality Job type:
