In this role, you will manage, distribute, and maintain tools for machinery operators. You will help keep daily operations running smoothly by making sure equipment is clean, functional, and ready when needed.
Responsibilities:
Hand out necessary tools, fixtures, and equipment to machinery operators. Keep accurate inventory records using computer systems and standard software programs. Inspect tools for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements. Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of supply needs before stock runs low. Assist with setting up tooling for machine operations when requested. Ensure all equipment is clean, organized, and properly stored. Read blueprints, schematics, and measurement instruments to verify specifications. Track tool usage and generate inventory reports using basic computer applications. Follow workplace safety rules, wear required protective equipment, and maintain a safe workspace.
