Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents. Implement sanitation protocols to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and longevity. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to proper safety procedures. Use janitorial and custodial experience to clean bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas thoroughly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage outdoor work responsibilities when required, including outdoor surface cleaning or yard maintenance. Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized properly using appropriate products while following health guidelines. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to maximize productivity. Prioritize tasks effectively through strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the safe use of cleaning detergents and equipment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique. Strong attention to detail in dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and overall sanitation practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Experience in outdoor work or yard maintenance is a plus but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects as needed. Familiarity with residential housekeeping standards or janitorial/custodial experience is preferred.
