Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning items as needed. This position is essential in ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests in a hotel setting. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established protocols. Manage dry cleaning processes for guests' garments as required. Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure everything is in order and report any maintenance issues. Organize and restock cleaning supplies and laundry materials as needed. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with other housekeeping tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Previous experience in a housekeeping or laundry role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred. Must be available to work evenings/weekends typically 5p-10p/5p-11p Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively, including washers and dryers. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
