Housekeeper Valencia at Draper Draper, UT Job Details Full-time $14 - $16 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Working with seniors Full Job Description Valencia at Draper is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help keep our community clean, comfortable, and welcoming. In this role you'll care for resident apartments and common areas alike, creating the kind of bright, well-kept environment where our residents feel truly at home. It's a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and has a genuine warmth for working around older adults. What You'll Do Perform all housekeeping duties in resident apartments - vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, high dusting, removing trash, and changing bed linens. Clean restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and community common areas. Use cleaning equipment and materials properly and observe all safety and security procedures. Report any observed problems or deficiencies in resident services to the Executive Director. Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor. What We're Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence. Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with little variation. Genuine skill and comfort working with elderly residents. Sound judgment and professionalism, treating residents and coworkers with tact and respect. Strong planning and organization, using time efficiently and working productively. Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to stand; occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
