Job Summary La Quinta Inn & Suites Logan is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned hotel areas to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and understands the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, restocking guest supplies, removing trash, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive hospitality team while developing valuable housekeeping and customer service skills. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train individuals who have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture during deep cleaning or maintenance tasks Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized properly, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations Assist with outdoor work as needed, such as patio or balcony cleaning or trash removal Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with strength and endurance Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks effectively Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience with carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, laundry services, and outdoor work is a plus Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as tiles, wood floors, carpets, and upholstery Ability to follow safety protocols related to custodial work and chemical handling Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift Join our team as a Housekeeping Attendant where your dedication will help create pristine environments that clients love!
