Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to meet high standards of cleanliness. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene. Maintain floors through regular cleaning, carpet care, and floor polishing to preserve their appearance and longevity. Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, surface cleaning, and outdoor work when necessary to uphold overall cleanliness standards. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture during deep cleaning or rearrangements. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs or preferences while providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools. Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while managing time efficiently to complete tasks promptly. Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work when required. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
