Job description About us Affordable Suites is an extended stay in Harrisonburg VA Affordable Suites is a highly sought after extended stay here in Harrisonburg Virginia. Our establishment has 29 rooms and we provide spacious, upscale accommodations which are truly affordable, with all the amenities our guest needs to be comfortable.
Hours/Pay:
This is a floating housekeeping/laundry position, work as needed. Hours and days will vary with an average of 10 to 20 hours a week. Starting pay is $16.00 an hour.
THIS IS NOT A LIVE IN POSITION OR LIVE ON SITE.
Job description: To clean stayover rooms once per week. This includes the changing out of linens and towels, making the bed, dusting all surfaces in the room, cleaning the entire bathroom, taking out the trash, vacuum and mop. You will have about 7 to 10 stayover rooms per day. You will also have anywhere from 1 to 4 move outs per week, which will need a complete deep clean of the entire room and furnishings. Daily / deep cleaning of the laundry room and outdoor spaces, cleaning in house linen, deep cleans of rooms and property, as well as maintaining the storage closets and folding and organizing all linen.

You're dependable and responsible. You show up to work on time and give prior notice when needing a day off or coming in late. You take pride in what you do and are constantly trying to improve your skills. You take initiative and are able to work alone while maintaining productivity. You are kind, honest and trustworthy ( MUST
PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
) You truly enjoy cleaning and maintaining an organized environment. I am looking for experience but mostly someone who enjoys this kind of work and takes pride in that.
