Duties Perform thorough cleaning of lobby areas, including floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Manage chemical handling procedures safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and using proper personal protective equipment. Conduct manual handling of cleaning supplies and heavy lifting of furniture or equipment to ensure efficient workspace organization. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries professionally, and assisting with their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms and common areas according to hotel housekeeping management standards. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality setting. Knowledge of floor care techniques including chemical agent handling, industrial cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) protocols. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during incidents.
