Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Experience in hospitality, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene expected by our organization. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to meet health regulations Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management promptly Adhere to all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment usage Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while providing excellent customer service Experience Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, including hotel experience or hospitality background Knowledge of janitorial practices, industrial cleaning methods, and floor care techniques is advantageous Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
