Job Description

Housekeeper Position Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all club facilities to ensure a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for members, guests, and staff. This position plays an essential role in upholding the high standards of excellence and hospitality expected at the club. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all public areas, including dining rooms, lounges, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, meeting spaces, pool house and common areas. Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and surfaces throughout the clubhouse. Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other fixtures to maintain a polished appearance. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners throughout the facility. Restock restroom supplies, paper products, soaps, and other amenities as needed. Maintain locker rooms by cleaning showers, sinks, lockers, and changing areas. Set up and maintain cleanliness of banquet and event spaces before and after functions. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the appropriate supervisor. Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed. Respond promptly and courteously to member and guest requests. Follow all club policies, health regulations, and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, or janitorial experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional member service. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach overhead. Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
