Job Summary The Craddock Terry Hotel, an award-winning boutique hotel in Downtown Lynchburg, is adding to their team. We are hiring for a PT Houseman/ Parking Attendant position. Join our dynamic team as a Houseman and Parking Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall ambiance of our property. This energetic position combines custodial responsibilities with parking management duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff alike. Your proactive approach will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, lobbies, corridors, and public spaces, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe. Manage parking operations by directing vehicles efficiently, assisting guests with parking needs, and ensuring smooth traffic flow within the parking area. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Support hospitality efforts by assisting guests with directions or inquiries related to parking or facility amenities. Monitor the cleanliness of outdoor areas and ensure all walkways are free of debris or hazards. Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all custodial tasks align with operational standards and guest expectations. Assists in laundering guest's sheets, towel, and duvets Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred. Experience working in hotels or hospitality environments is a plus. Strong understanding of general cleaning procedures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods while performing cleaning and parking duties. Excellent communication skills to assist guests effectively and coordinate with team members. A proactive attitude with a focus on attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
