Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain impeccable appearance and hygiene standards Safely manage chemical agents by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues Conduct heavy lifting when necessary for moving furniture, linens, or cleaning supplies, following manual handling safety protocols Maintain cleanliness in accordance with hotel housekeeping management policies and sanitation regulations Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to room cleanliness or amenities, providing excellent customer service Follow hotel emergency procedures during unexpected situations, ensuring safety for all guests and staff Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience within a hotel or hospitality setting preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and chemical dispensers Knowledge of floor care methods including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types Experience handling chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks in busy environments Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during routine cleaning duties Strong customer service skills with a friendly approach towards guests and team members Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills create welcoming spaces for guests from around the world!
