Job Summary Carry cleaning supplies, by hand or using wheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Clean floors, using brooms, mops, vacuums. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Attend scheduled staff meetings. Job Requirements Essential Must pass all required Background Checks. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License with reliable transportation and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier. Must obtain a TB test with satisfactory results within 30 days of employment, and yearly thereafter as required by licensing authority. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent and 1to 2 years of related experience.
