Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across various rooms and surfaces Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in line with health standards Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors and other surfaces Manage manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment safely, including heavy lifting when necessary Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles, with knowledge of janitorial practices preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mopping systems and other tools Knowledge of cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper handling procedures for safety Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tasks like moving furniture or bulky items Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction through professional communication and attention to detail Maintaining a professional environment with staff and clientele Must have reliable transportation in order to travel to cities to include: Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Knotts Island & Moyock.
