Use appropriate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling and sanitation protocols. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies, ensuring safety procedures are followed during manual handling activities. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with a friendly attitude, providing excellent customer service at all times. Comply with hotel emergency procedures and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles, with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques preferred. Strong skills in floor cleaning, vacuuming, and general sanitation practices to uphold hygiene standards. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks, understanding safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or procedures is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during routine cleaning activities.
