Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Manage outdoor work tasks including outdoor cleaning and light maintenance as needed to keep exterior areas tidy. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction. Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, and detergents. Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures with attention to detail. Ability to perform floor cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and floor care techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday. Customer service orientation with effective client communication skills. Experience in laundry operations combined with knowledge of custodial practices. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged standing or walking.
