Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of residential properties. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor patios. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for residents and visitors. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows and fixtures. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying protective treatments as needed. Handle manual lifting of furniture or heavy items safely during deep cleaning or rearrangement tasks. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests while maintaining professional customer service standards. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with janitorial or custodial backgrounds. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and scrubbers. Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures using various detergents and disinfectants safely. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work involving manual handling of supplies or furniture.
