Duties Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards. Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and custodial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment. Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed meticulously, including proper use of safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling and compliance with hotel emergency procedures. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving furniture or supplies to support efficient room turnover. Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms, ensuring all items meet quality standards and guest expectations. Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols to maintain safety standards and uphold hygiene regulations across all areas. Respond promptly to guest requests with excellent customer service, addressing needs courteously and efficiently. Skills Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Knowledge of floor cleaning, floor care, vacuuming, and the operation of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling tasks required for thorough cleaning. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during unforeseen incidents. Strong attention to detail combined with organizational skills to manage multiple rooms efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
