Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper at the Forrest Inn, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will contribute to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and prep guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities
• Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms
• Empty trash containers and replace liners
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members We keep a well-maintained facility with no carpeting in rooms and rooms that are cleaned daily. Regular hours start between 9am
• 3pm, it just depends on the day.

Hours are flexible as long as communicated with management in advance. Hiring for weekends primarily, though the occasional weekday shift is also available. Pay is based on experience & raises are given. Tips are also provided, as well as occasional staff lunches and other team benefits. Time and a half on holidays Please note that all positions at our hotel require a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
