Onsite - Ashwaubenon, WI Opportunity To maintain the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake, and Lodge Kohler.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for understanding assignment board, making a note of early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, special requests etc. Follow established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface so we do not damage finishes. All stayover rooms must be cleaned to meet stayover requirements to include personalizing of room, and all checkout rooms must be cleaned to meet hotel standards. Follow all American Club Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures that you have signed off on. (
EX:
Tips, changing sheets etc.) Treat every guest with respect. Follow instructions given by Leads (supervisor) as well as other members of management. Be responsible for proper use and care of cleaning tools assigned to you such as squeegees, sticky rollers etc. Remain professional at all times while on the guest floors, remembering that guests can hear you even when you are in a stairwell or in a housekeeping closet. Keep your uniform in perfect condition. Your uniform should be neat, clean, well-fitting with no holes, missing buttons, or other faults. Promptly report any uniform deficiency. Always wear a nametag. Treat ALL co-workers with dignity and respect. Promptly bring concerns to the attention of your lead, or to the attention of the Executive Housekeeper. Beginning 1 month after training has been completed, you will have a random monthly inspection of one of your rooms. You are expected to make a 92/100 minimum to pass the inspection. If you do not pass, you will be asked to go back to make corrections and you will be given written feedback so you know where you need to work to improve. If you continue to not pass inspection, you will receive progressive discipline, up to and including termination of employment. Perform any other duties upon request. Skills/Requirements High School Diploma is preferred, or we will train an appropriate (experienced) candidate. Prior hotel/lodging experience is important, but not necessary. Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and handle bending over beds and tubs. Candidate must speak, write, and/or understand English. Well-versed in the art of human relations and motivation techniques. Must be an articulate and perceptive individual able to foresee potential shortcomings and prevent problems. Candidate must have the ability to lift 50+ pounds and tolerate being on their feet for the majority of their shift. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The hourly range for this position is $13.10 - $19.60 plus tips/gratuity.
