Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Attendantto join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where guest satisfaction and cleanliness are top priorities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry services to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned Skills Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organizational skills to manage laundry loads and cleaning schedules effectively Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment when necessary Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
