Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Use proper floor care techniques to strip, wax, buff, and polish various flooring types for a polished appearance. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to guarantee guest comfort at all times. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures aligned with hospitality standards to ensure a safe working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to facilitate swift repairs and uphold property standards. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable; familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care methods essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene and appearance. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated understanding of hospitality principles and customer service orientation. Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
