Full Job Description Starting Wage:

$15.00/hr. Weekends and Holidays are mandatory.

Position Summary:

Responsible for cleaning the pool area, banquet hallways, public restrooms, and lobby or common hotel areas.

Purpose of Position:

To clean and maintain all public areas before the majority of guests check out daily. To provide exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions/Tasks:

Assist guests with any special needs and always make the guest the 1st priority Greets every guest that is encountered. Fully clean, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing all areas of the restaurant, bars, and kitchen area Cleans and maintains all lobby, pool, and public restrooms. Cleans windows, carpets, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and machines. Cleans hallways and restrooms. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors and fixtures. Dusting and maintaining furniture and fixtures. Vacuums and polishes the elevator. Keeps the front of the hotel and parking lot area free of trash. Cleans fitness center and game room. Vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and polishing furniture and fixtures daily. Cleans all public entrances and stairwells. Reports any damaged or dangerous furniture, fixtures, or carpet. Carries out all company policies and procedures for safety and security. Reports any injuries.

Job Requirements:

Neat & well-groomed appearance. Requires physical ability to do the job and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular and continual basis. Pleasant personality and people skills. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends. Maintaining a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness. Eye for detail. Good communication skills.

Accountability:

Maintaining a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness. All public areas to be cleaned and presentable to guests before daily checkouts. Follow all state and federal guidelines, including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training.
