Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in a hotel setting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks and ensuring all surfaces and floors are spotless. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and customer service skills will contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic space for guests. This position offers an engaging opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning to ensure a spotless environment. Implement proper sanitation procedures for bathrooms and other high-touch areas to promote health and safety. Operate various cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools with care and precision. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents; ensure all equipment is well-maintained and used correctly. Communicate effectively with management or guests to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Follow established cleaning schedules and time management practices to complete tasks efficiently without compromising quality. Support housekeeping management in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles. Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces such as hardwood floors, carpets, tiles, and upholstery. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation products along with proper usage protocols. Experience operating diverse cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary. Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required. Excellent guest communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service. Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
